Terms of Service
ApnaTrees is made by Stenark Solutions Private Limited, India ("we", "us").
Effective date: 11 October 2026.
By using ApnaTrees you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The app
ApnaTrees helps you keep your family tree, remember important dates and invite family to events. The app is free to use. Your family tree is stored on your phone; only online events use our server. Our Privacy Policy explains what data goes where.
Your information and other people's
- You are responsible for what you add to the app: people, dates, notes, events and messages.
- Only add details about other people that you are allowed to keep, and respect their wishes if they ask you to remove them.
- When you invite guests to an event, send invitations only to people who would expect to hear from you.
- Your family tree stays on your phone. Keep backup files safe: we cannot recover data we never received.
Online events and RSVP links
- Anyone who has an event's RSVP link can see the event details and reply. Share links only with the people you mean to invite.
- Guest names and replies are deleted a few weeks after the event, as the Privacy Policy describes.
Acceptable use
Do not use ApnaTrees to:
- send spam, threats, harassment or unlawful content
- impersonate someone or collect other people's data without their permission
- attack, overload or try to break into our server, or get around its limits
We may remove events or block devices or accounts that break these rules.
Signing in
Signing in with Google is optional. Keep your Google account secure; anything done while you are signed in is treated as done by you. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Ads
The app shows short notices about our own other apps. We do not show ads from other companies and do not use your data for advertising.
Our service
- We provide ApnaTrees "as is". We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.
- We may change, pause or stop features, including online events. If we stop online events we will try to tell you in the app first.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for loss of data stored on your phone or in your backup files.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
