Chithappa, Athai, Mama. Your words, understood.
Every family has its own words for relatives. ApnaTrees knows them in Tamil, Hindi and English, so you never have to think "what is that in English?"
Saved someone as “Ravi Chithappa”? ApnaTrees notices, and suggests where Ravi belongs in your family.
- Father’s younger brotherசித்தப்பாChithappa · चाचा · Uncle
- Father’s sisterஅத்தைAthai · बुआ · Aunt
- Mother’s brotherமாமாMama · मामा · Uncle
Just say it. Or just ask.
Type it the way you would tell a friend: “Ravi is my mother’s younger brother.” ApnaTrees understands, and asks “Yes, add?” before it changes anything.
Then ask back: “Who are my cousins?” “Who is on my father’s side?” You get the answer straight away.
